Included is a binhex'd Compact Pro archive of NCSA/BYU Telnet 2.5.1B Hangul patch. This was created with ResCompare 2.5 by Michael Hecht. You should get /Mac/Telnet/Telnet2.5/Telnet2.5.1B.sit.hqx via anonymous ftp to ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu to apply the patch. Launch the patcher, and select the Telnet application. And that's all. * This patch should not be applied to other versions of Telnet! * I made this patch since version 2.4 of Hangul Telnet isn't TCP/IP friendly. It just doesn't allow me to use Fetch, Nuntius, Eudora, or any other great applications that use MacTCP. I could get the source code from ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu, but I didn't have MPW. So I invested the code and made changes directly to CODE resources with ResEdit. At least this patch works for me. One thing to keep in mind: don't type Hangul using the _direct_ input method. The program will crash. I don't know why. This is a simple hack, so I don't know much about the program. Just stick to the _indirect_ input method.
